Elon Musk says SpaceX is facing 'bankruptcy risk' in leaked emails

In short: Last weekend, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk gave an internal overview of the critical situation regarding its rocket engine production. Production problems seem to be putting the Starship project and Starlink satellite Internet service at risk, and Musk admits that if these problems are not resolved, they may go bankrupt.

The question seems to be whether SpaceX can get machine product on track to support the satellite launches needed for its Starlink Internet service. SpaceX developed the Raptor machine to power its"Starship"rocket. The company's thing is to use Starship for a lunar charge in 2023 and ultimately shoot humans to Mars. Still, its short- term thing is to use Starship to launch satellites for Starlink.According to the company-wide Thanksgiving dispatch blurted to CNBC and Space Explored this week, the extremity of Raptor machine product is more serious than Musk had realized before. The SpaceX superintendent ultimately cancelled his planned Thanksgiving vacation and asked everyone to resolve what he called a" disaster."

Musk explained in an dispatch that SpaceX is adding the product of outstations that Starlink guests use to pierce the Internet. SpaceX's plan to make millions of satellites each time will absorb"a lot of plutocrat", and unless the company can get enough satellites in route, it'll be useless.

Last week,

CNBC reported that the two vice chairpersons of SpaceX responsible for rocket product have left. According to sources, the lack of progress led to the junking of Will Heltsley, SpaceX's vice chairman of advancement, from the development of the Raptor. SpaceX vice chairman of charge and launch operations Lee Rosen also left in November, and elderly director of charge and launch operations Ricky Lim also left. All three have worked in the company for numerous times.
